| Homeowners Insurance Q: What type of Insurance should I purchase for my townhome unit? A: You must have a full homeowner’s policy that covers both the exterior and interior of the unit. The Signature Club is a Townhome association NOT a condominium association so be sure you have the proper insurance coverage. The Signature Club does not have any insurance coverage on the buildings. Please check with your agent to make sure you have full coverage on your unit. Exterior Lights Q: What wattage bulbs should I put in my exterior lanterns? A: We recommend you use 100 watt bulbs for your exterior lights. Some suggests include: Westinghouse ………. Landscape Maintenance Q: Who is responsible for watering the grass, plants and shrubs on the property? A: The Homeowner is responsible for watering all plants, trees, shrubs and grass on their property. The association’s landscaper (K & R services) is responsible for plantings, cutting the grass, hedges, etc. However, it is the responsibility of each Homeowner to regularly water their grass, plants, trees, and shrubs. Townhome Alterations Q: How can I find out what alterations are acceptable for my Townhome? A: Read the Rules and Regulations for the Signature Club at Clearwater and submit an “Alteration Request” form to the Board of Directors. The Rules and Regulations can be found on the Signature Club website; www.Signatureclub.info under “documents.” Also, you can download a copy of the Alteration Request Form from the website. You may contact the Property Manager; Mary Seego (630-633-5450) to obtain an Alteration form. Garbage Q: What can I do to prevent trash from falling out of my garbage can that I sit out on the curb? A: We recommend you consider purchasing a “Green Naperville Garbage Cart”. The carts are heavy duty and are not blown over easily. They are equipped with a special handle that allows the garbage trucks to mechanically lift the carts without dropping trash. A: Parking overnight is not allowed from 2-5 am on the street without approval from the Naperville Police Department. Residents should call the non-emergency number of the Naperville Police Department to get approval for parking on the street overnight. The number is 630-420-6666. |
